    So insane...
Gas is now Euro 1,45 per LITER which would be Euro 5,51 per Gallon which equals US $ 7,88 per gallon....

A joghurt cost 0,29 Euro til this August - now it's 0,49 Euro; quark was 0,49 and now is 0,79 and so on... I have no idea what's going on in this country....

    + the lay offs
+ the new low income jobs

Yesterday they said in the news that 10% of Germans own 2/3 of the German fortune....

I would not be surprised if there was a rebellion here in the next time....

It's not popular in Germany and I asked my facialist who does not use one either... so I am asking... does it really make a difference????

    Bijou
I am still trying to cure Bijou’s incontinence. It’s really hard: she seems to notice when her urine is starting to drip and she immediately starts to lick it. She has had a few infections due to this already. I first tried to heal it the incontinence with homeopathic medicine – but this did not work at all. Then Bijou had to wear “panties with panty liners for dogs”, but she still tried to lick it and sometimes it still would drip into our bed (it happens mostly during the nights). We then decided to try it with the medicine (which our vet gave us; she said that it would be very well tolerated and had not much side effects, but the maximum dosage for Bijou was just ½ tablet. The first few days it helped, then it started again with the dripping. Yesterday I put some of her urine on a paper towel and I will try to train her to do her pippi there, I do not know if she would go there in the middle of the night instead of licking… and I have another appointment at the vet’s office next Friday. One other possibility would be to give her hormones (since spaying made her “hormoneless”) but this could cause cancer (and that was the reason we spayed her – to prevent cancer).

Have you heard of this, do you know what to do????

Do you have to pay dog-licence fees in the US/ICanada????

I am so pissed: I have to pay 98,00 Euros a year (about US$ 132,00) for Bijou – they now have a price increase and we will have to pay 120,00 Euros a year (162,00 US$). They are so nuts here in Germany.
I pick up Bijou’s poo, what do I have pay this money for – they actually say that there is no equivalent for this payment.
When you have a second dog, this will cost extra tax, and even more than for the first (about 186,00US$) and a third dog will cost about 232,00US$ a year….

Find on my dog-walking-tour... and something soo cute...
Since I have seen this tree before I took my camera with me today to show it to you: this kind of tree I have only seen in Muir Woods National Park in California before - now there is one of those guys - a big one - in our suburb.... it is big.... is it a Giant Sequoia, or Redwood, what is it???

    Look it:

About 2 months ago our local animal shelter (who publishes one animal every week in the daily news magazine to get it adopted by someone) posted a pic of a 16 year old deaf, blind dog which also has a heart problem + a skin illness... they asked readers to adopt this doggy to give him a nice loving remaining life... I remember that I begged my parents to get this dog, but they did not wanna do that.... Imagine, I met this dog on my walking tour with Bijou; the lady who walked "Strolchi" told me his story and I said "Wow that is the dog from the news magazine"... he was so cute. But I could not take a good picture - he was a little restless - perhaps he was a little scard since he could not see/hear.... I told the lady that she has done something sooo good and that I was so happy for that dog. It really made my day....
    Here he is:

WHY is everything underlined after the pics???? As I said many times before, I am too dumb with computers...

    Turbo Jam - day one
haha let me start like this: I am a runner and I even used to be a good runner with a good "running style". But I am totally dumb when it comes to coordination/dance moves/different steps. You probably would have died of laughing watching me doing this first turbo jam workout called "learn and burn"... but hey I had fun, time flew by like crazy, and I was sweating. I really squeezed my abs, flexed my arms and kept my core muscles where they should be kept which all was very straining. So I really liked it! In the first 10 minutes of "learn and burn" the instructor (who is likeable) explains every move - my problem is coordinating the moves.
I am sure I will have to stick to this first workout for some more practice of the steps and coordination. I will let you know if I got sore muscles from that! And one more thing: it's 1000 times better than doing sit ups or other abs workouts!

Wow this dog is amazing... I just came back from a 67 minutes long run - about 10k - we ran fast and Bijou was off the leash most of the time - she ran back and forth - so she even made more distance than we did - and what does she do after returning home and sipping some water? She brings us her toy soccer ball and wants us to throw it, so she can get it and bring it back... she does that for hours.... how can a small maltepoo like hers have such an endurance..... it's unbelievable.... I am really amazed!
